2. Communication & Collaboration

  • Primary Channels: Slack for daily updates; email for formal announcements.
  • Response Times: Aim to reply within 4 business hours during your core availability window.
  • Documentation: All project specs and decisions live in our Notion workspace for transparency.

3. Working Hours & Availability

  • Asynchronous Flexibility: Set a daily “core window” of 4 hours where overlap with teammates is encouraged.
  • Time Zones: Indicate your local time zone in Slack. Respect teammates’ working hours when scheduling messages or meetings.

4. Meetings & Retreats

  • Weekly Stand‑ups: 30-minute sync on Mondays at 9 AM PT via Zoom.
  • One‑on‑Ones: Bi‑weekly check-ins with your manager to discuss goals and feedback.
  • Quarterly Retreats: In‑person gatherings for team building, strategic planning, and training.

5. Equipment & Security

  • Data Protection: Use provided VPN and enforce strong passwords and MFA on all accounts.
  • Asset Management: Return or securely dispose of company equipment if your role changes or upon departure.
